The Type 183, nicknamed "Iltis" (Polecat) in German, is a military vehicle developed and manufactured as a successor to the DKW Munga used by the German army from the 1950s onwards.
This car was manufactured over a ten-year period from 1978 to 1988, with approximately 9,500 units eventually made, and was also produced under license in Canada.
