── A legacy passed down to northern Kanto! 1800-type livery!

[Actual vehicle introduction]
The 200 series was created in 1991 by reusing parts from the scrapped 1720 series Deluxe Romancecar and attaching them to a newly constructed body.
It was used on the Isesaki Line express Ryomo trains together with the 1800 series, but in 1999, when the 1800 series was retired from the Ryomo trains and all trains were replaced with the 200 series, it was upgraded from an express to a limited express.
The car body is made of steel and simple driver's cabs are installed in M2 (car No. 4) and M3 (car No. 5), allowing the cars to be operated separately during inspection.
Starting in August 2021, trains 205 and 209 have been repainted in a vibrant rose red with two white lines, reminiscent of the original Ryomo 1800 series.
Subsequently, train 205 will be repainted with a different paint scheme in 2024, and train 207 will be repainted with a new paint scheme in September 2025.
This change is limited to the exterior, and the replacement of the seat moquettes (from crimson to camel) that was carried out on the previous two trains has been omitted.

[Product overview]
Based on A2655 (shipped in October 2022), this model reproduces the 207 train set, which was repainted red in 2025.
The seat color is dark red, which is different from the camel color of A2655. The head cover is painted white.
Features of the 200 series, such as the streamlined front end and the doorless body of the 207-3, are reproduced.
