[About the actual car]
During World War II, not only combat vehicles but also various other vehicles were essential for rear support logistics and other purposes.
The German army used a large number of trucks to transport supplies to the front lines.
The Opel Blitz, produced by Opel, was one of these, and many were used for various purposes as the Kfz305 military truck.
The rear-wheel drive 3-ton truck is one of the most representative trucks, and it is said that more than 130,000 units were produced during World War II up until 1944.
Four-wheel drive versions were also produced for the Eastern and North African fronts. Powered by a water-cooled inline six-cylinder gasoline engine, its excellent driving performance and durability led to widespread use from the North African to Eastern fronts.
These vehicles continued to provide supplies and support operations on the far-flung front lines.
In addition, various variations of these vehicles were made using the same platform with modified loading areas, and they were used in a variety of roles.

[About the model]
This 1/35 scale model is a recreation of the KFZ305 Opel Blitz, a military truck widely used by the German army during World War II. This particular model is based on the four-wheel drive Type A.
