Product Description
──~Continuing the history and trust of our 130 years of business into the future~ Oita Kotsu 2-car set now available!
Oita Kotsu is a bus company that operates mainly in the area north of Oita City in Oita Prefecture.
We operate local bus routes between Oita and Beppu, Kitsuki and Kunisaki, and Beppu city and APU Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, as well as the Oita Airport access bus [Airliner], and the express buses to Fukuoka [Toyonokuni-go] and Nagasaki [Sunlight-go].
In addition, together with the route networks of our group companies Daiko Kitabu Bus, Kunisaki Kanko Bus, and Kusu Kanko Bus, we have a large route area in northern Oita Prefecture.
The company also previously operated railway lines such as the Betsudai Line, Kunisaki Line, Yabakei Line, Toyoshu Line, and Usa-Sangu Line, and in 2026 will mark its 130th anniversary since its predecessor, Toyoshu Electric Railway, was established in August 1896 with the aim of opening a tram line between Beppu and Oita.
To commemorate this, we will be releasing a set of two of the latest Airliner and route bus vehicles.
This is the first time that Oita Kotsu has been commercialized in Bus Collection. Please look forward to it!
