The product is modeled after the tank was refitted in September 1944, when its 14cm single gun was replaced with a 12.7cm twin anti-aircraft gun.
→The hull with the forward torpedo tubes removed and a crew waiting room installed.
→The torpedo tubes were replaced with quadruple launchers.
→The ship is equipped with a Type 21 radar on the bridge and Type 22 and Type 13 radars on the aft mast.

- Parts configuration with a left and right integrated structure
→External electrical wiring is not installed; the shape is based on the design during sea trials after the refit.

→The portholes were closed off based on lessons learned from the war, resulting in a design that represents the minimal number of portholes remaining.
- The hull bottom is designed to fit inside the hull sides, and the area below the waterline is not reproduced.

→The machine gun ammunition boxes, machine gun mount bluework, and boat cradles are depicted by carving directly into the deck.

The onboard boats include an 11-meter motorboat, a 10-meter cargo boat, and a 9-meter cutter.

- Bridge and smokestack
- The bridge base is a box-shaped part that is integrated using a slide mold.
Each level, including the compass deck, air defense command post, and signal flag deck, is composed of separate parts.
- The bridge windows are integrated with the compass bridge part (molded in gray).
→★The 60cm signal searchlight comes with transparent molded parts that allow for a more realistic reproduction, unlike the standard (gray) molded color.
- Detailed outfitting parts such as ladders and signal searchlights are each composed of individual/independent parts.

→Naval ensigns and other flags are available in three sizes. The dimensions of the actual 10-width, 6-width, and 3-width flags are scaled to 1/700.

★Includes one decal sheet with the ship's name at the stern, white lines for the aft mast, waterline markings, etc.
→The ship's name on the stern comes in two variations: gold and full battleship gray.
