[About the actual vehicle]
This model replicates the locomotive manufactured by Nasmyth Wilson of England and introduced by the government-owned railway in 1887 (Meiji 20).
Due to their performance and ease of use, they were active throughout the country, and in their later years, many spent their second lives on local railways.

[About the model]
This model is a hybrid kit, with the undercarriage made of metal (primarily nickel silver) and the upper part made using 3D printing.
The Joy valve gear, a characteristic feature of this series of locomotives, can be assembled using either a fully functional movable version or an easier-to-assemble dummy version.
The undercarriage is designed to collect power from both the leading and trailing wheels (all-axle power collection), paying close attention to stable operation.
The rod transmission comes with a jig to align the phase.
The upper structure is mainly 3D printed, but areas requiring different paint schemes are separate parts, and the handrails are made of metal to ensure strength.
In addition to decals to recreate the era of the railway bureau, number plates to recreate the era of the Imperial Japanese Government Railways are included.
