Product Description

-- Hiroshima Electric Railway's No. 653 train car, carrying the memories of Hiroshima, is now available as a product!

The Hiroshima Electric Railway 650 series consists of five semi-steel electric trains (651-655) newly built in 1942 (Showa 17) by Kinami Rolling Stock Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Sakai City, Osaka.
Although it was completely or partially destroyed in 1945, it was restored. Units 651 through 654 underwent modernization modifications, including the installation of motorized destination signs above the driver's cab and air conditioning units.
The product will feature the pantograph-equipped version of locomotive No. 653, which has been restored to its pre-war paint scheme and is currently used exclusively for charter services.
