[Product Introduction]
- We will be reproducing the N700S Shinkansen, which is the main train used on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines.
- The N700S Shinkansen began operation between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka in July 2020, and is currently operating on the entire Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines.
- It is called "Supreme," signifying the highest-end Shinkansen in the N700 series, and incorporates various cutting-edge technologies.
- This is KATO's best selection, recommended for customers in a wide area from the Tokyo metropolitan area to western Japan.
- Please be sure to stock up on them.
- Starting with this product, we will be using a slotless motor for power.
- Accordingly, the product numbers, prices, and JAN codes for the basic set and starter set will be changed.
- Additionally, the power pack included in the starter set will be changed to black.
- There are no other changes from the previous product in terms of specifications.
[Product features]
- The J3 train set belonging to the Tokyo Police Inspection Depot will be made into a product.
- The dual-supreme wing front shape, which differs from the N700A, is realistically reproduced.
- The gold-based symbol mark on the side has been accurately reproduced.
- The blue stripe that wraps around from the side to the front, and the undercarriage cover with a different shape are reproduced.
- Equipped with KATO's unique body tilting mechanism that reproduces the inward tilt of the car body when passing through curves, just like the actual train.
- The adoption of a slotless motor achieves even smoother and quieter operation.
- Headlights/taillights illuminate (using white LEDs). The design replicates the look of the actual vehicle, with the left and right lights illuminating in pairs, one above the other.
