[Vehicle Guide]
The 485 series 1000 series was introduced in 1976 with enhanced cold-weather and snow-resistant construction and was mainly used in the Tohoku region.
During the Japanese National Railways era, it was a 12-car train set that included a dining car, and was mainly used on the Ou Main Line for the limited express trains "Tsubasa" and "Yamabato".
- Some of the vehicles were newly assigned to the Aomori Depot in addition to the Akita Depot, and were used on limited express trains on the Tohoku Main Line, mainly the Yamabiko, along with the 0, 200, 300, and 1500 series.

- Recreating the 485 series 1000 series from the JNR (Japanese National Railways) era.
- By combining this product with the <97246> basic set, a 6-car train can be recreated. Furthermore, by combining it with the <97247> add-on set A or the <97248> add-on set B or the <9021> Sashi 481, a 12-car train can be recreated.
<98589> 485 series (Kuha 481-200) basic set, etc. Various train formations can be reproduced by combining it with other series.
