Product Description

This special edition of the Imperial Japanese Navy series [Aircraft Carrier Zuisho] includes photo-etched parts and wooden deck decals!

The product features a full-hull design that allows you to recreate the entire ship, including the bottom, and comes with a display stand for enjoyment after completion.
The lower part of the hull is made from a single molded part, while the propeller and rudder are separate parts.
The 25mm twin machine guns include both the conventional one-piece construction parts and the more precise two-piece construction parts.
The 25mm machine gun is made of two pieces, making it easy to reproduce the gunmetal barrel and the hull color of the base by painting them separately.

[Structural and Specifications Features]
This is a kit where you assemble the molded parts using adhesive.

[Product Features]
The product is modeled after the appearance of the ship in October 1944 (Operation Sho-Go 1).
This model recreates the ship's final appearance, with an extended flight deck at the bow and a Type 13 radar mounted on the mast.

[hull]
The hull and bottom are separated at the waterline, and the bottom is a single piece for both sides.
The external electrical wiring is depicted with delicate carvings all around the hull.
The walkways and pillars at the rear of the hangar (upper deck/top deck), as well as the capstan and secondary anchor at the stern, are separate parts.
The ship features intricate three-dimensional carvings on even the smallest details, including the underside of the sponsons on the sides and the ribs of the reinforcing structure.
The bridge deck and the aft boat deck feature a recreated linoleum-covered floor.

[Flight deck]
The flight deck is designed as a two-part extension, with the front and back halves connected by an inconspicuous expansion joint.
The elevator can be set to ascend or descend, and the windbreak fence is a separate part, resulting in a realistic shape.
The ship features intricate carvings that depict details such as expansion joints, wooden decks, and split patterns.

[fitting]
To ensure accurate representation of the ship's shape, most of the sponsons on the ship's sides are made from separate parts.
The chimney has a two-piece construction, and the exhaust vent's grid structure is also a separate part, allowing for a realistic and deep reproduction.
The auxiliary chimney is reproduced as a single piece, including the base, in the [raised] position.
The wireless antenna support mast has a separate base and support column, allowing it to be positioned upright or down.
The machine gun mounts on both sides of the stern and bow, as well as the rocket launchers, are reproduced using dedicated parts.

[Carriage-based aircraft]
・Two types of carrier-based aircraft are included.
Includes two Zero Fighter Type 52s and two Tenzans.

[Decal]
The decals include white lines on the deck, ship name markings, landing markings, naval ensign, and the Japanese flag on carrier-based aircraft.

[Etching parts]
- Includes etched parts that allow for detailed expression of features that are difficult to reproduce with injection-molded parts.
The photo-etched parts include handrails, safety railings, boat davits, Type 13 radar, ladders, masts, and more.

[Wooden Deck Stickers]
The wooden deck decals are processed with a laser cutter, allowing for a realistic reproduction of the wooden deck's pattern, which is difficult to achieve with paint alone.
- Etched parts are included to recreate the details on the flight deck.
The photo-etched parts include elevators, landing gear, arresting gear, searchlight housing cover, Type 21 radar housing cover, and more.
