image is included in the starter set as well as the basic set.
Pocket Line
♦
10-501-1 Chibi-Loco Total
Set (Packaging)
The Pocket Line Series that has been revived since over 10 years (?) was on display.
This here is a set of Chibi Loco + Chibi Passenger Car + Basic Rail + controller, a total
package that you can play with the day you buy it!
♦
10-501-1 Chibi-Loco Total
Set
The cars in the Chibi Loco Total Set are,
the duotone blue and red (brownish red) colored Chibi Loco and the Chibi Passenger car.
I was given the query about this, but the motor is loaded on the second Chibi Passenger car.
♦
10-501-1 Chibi-Loco Total
Set
A controller that uses battery as its power source by the name of "Sound Battery Pack" is
included.
The switch on the bottom left controls the advance, stop, and reverse settings.
The buttons in the middle are for creating sound effects.
♦
14-501-1 Tram of My Town
Chibi-den (2-Car Set)
The Chibi Train was introduced to the tramways all over Japan in the 1980s, with a design
similar to that of the light trains, or the light rail transit.
The coloring is similar to something that might be seen in Hiroshima Railways, colored mainly
with green.
It might also be suitable for the Unitram rail too.
♦
10-500-1 Steam Locomotive
of Fun Town (3-Car Set)
The 3 car set consists of Chibi Loco and Chibi passenger cars.
It's a duotone coloring that differs to the coloring of the total set before.
♦
10-502-1 Freight Car of a
Country Town Chibi-Totsu Set (3-Car Set)
The Chibi-Totsu and two Chibi freight cars as a set.
The electric locomotive Chibi Totsu was displayed on its own.
The bitter coloring and the adjustable pantograph are the difference between the old and the
new.
These Pocket Line Items are all
slated for release this
month
Starter Set
♦ 22-013 Power Pack Hyper D
This is the new type controller introduced in the
article on the 22nd, the
[Power Pack Hyper D].
So here are the basics of this item:
[1] With huge capacity (2A), you can let it run without holding back!
[2] Increase the fun with 2-direction operation!
[3] With the use of Light Control function, the light is bright even when running on low speed!
Assy Parts
♦
28-144 [Assy Parts] Power
Chassis Unit of Moha683-1305
Here is the Assy Parts slated for release in September, the Moha683-1305 power unit set.
Its recommended for those that wants to motorize the add-on set of the Series 683 "Thunderbird"
on their own.
The products they are compatible with are the following:
10-556 and
10-483.
♦
28-145 [Assy Parts] White
LED Tail Light Set for Passenger Car Series20
I don't think you can tell what this is at a glance,
but this is the tail light unit for the Series 20 Passenger Car.
The current product is equipped with the white LED, for a more realistic lighting effect.
For those with the old product, you can switch to this item to turn it into the same level as
the current product.
If you are interested in the difference, have a look below.
On the left side, is the old product with the light bulb, and to the right, the same thing with
the light bulb replaced with the Assy Parts.
The actual Series 20 passenger car had the train alias plate lit by fluorescent light, so by
switching to the white LED really makes it look very similar to the fluorescent light!
Train Sets and Singles
♦
3065-1 EF510-500 Hokutosei
Color
This was released late last month, and sold out very fast here at Hobby Search.
The actual train made its debut with the towing of "Cassiopeia", and believed to be running
actively from here.
The model has been reproduced with great details even to the fine parts, and could be seen as
one of the representative of the first half.
♦
7009-1 DF50 Shikoku Type
For the DF50 that has been dispatched to the Shikoku region, they differ to other DF50 in ways
such as being equipped with a belt like steel plate to enforce the body etc. and other small
differences.
The sample had the front enforcement plate lightly reproduced.
So lightly that it is hard to detect in this photo...
♦
3062-2 EF15 Final Type
The EF15, one of the representatives of the electric locomotive for freight use in JNR
period.
The distinctive characteristics of this would be the three windows at the center on both sides,
the skylight on the roof being H-Rubber, and the Pantograph being PS15 Type.
♦
10-493 Series 205-1200
Nambu Line Single Arm Pantagraph (6-Car Set)
The group called No.1200s in the series 205 on the Nanbu Line are the middle cars that has been
made redundant on the Yamanote Line, that had been given a face-lift of a sort /a>
and
customized with new drivers cabin etc.
The basic leader car is like the
previous item (10-490)
These days, there are some pantograph that had been changed to the single arm type, and this
model is reproducing the "current Nanbu Line" by being equipped with the single armed
pantograph.
♦
10-585 Series 115-1000
Nagano Color (3-Car Set)
The "Nagano Coloring" with the fresh blue paint around the windows is the coloring specified by
the JR East Nagano Branch, and also sometimes called the "New Shinshu Color" too.
Kato has released this with different specifications to that of other companies. This is not in
the photo, but its appearance with the single armed pantograph of the current state,
slated for release this month.
♦
10-582 Series E127-100 Oito
Line (2-Car Set)
As part of the [Trains active in the country side cities series], there are plans for many
normal trains to be released.
This here is the Series E127 No.100s Oito Line is also one of them, and the belt color has been
inherited from the Nagano Color.
Being a 2-Car formation, it can easily be run as a model for sure.
It's
slated for release this month too.
♦
10-583 Series 115-1000
Nigata Color (3-Car Set)
This "Niigata Color" is the coloring use for the series 115 by the JR East Niigata Branch.
The Niigata Coloring has had changes in several occasions, but this one is designed to harmonize
with the surroundings.
The sample only had the leader car displayed, but the belt that would be soo complicated to
paint if you had to paint it yourself, had been beautifully reproduced.
♦
10-581 Series E127-0 Nigata
Color (2-Car Set)
Although it is the same Series E127, compared to the No.100s of the Nagano Branch,
the belt color is different, and so is the front part too.
There are other differences between the Niigata and Nagano, so it would be interesting to
compare them.
Rail Related Items
♦ Unitram Expansion Set Various items and structures
The sample display of items to expand on the railways or the city scene by incorporating the
Unitram
Basic Set (40-800) or
Starter Set (40-900) was
exhibited.
There were structures and accessories (people, cars etc.) positioned, and they can come together
to create a scene like this.
So let's take a look at each of the expansion sets.
♦ 40-821 Unitram Expansion Set City Corner
Let's increase the intersections!
A set for recreating a huge intersection.
There is no rail for the tram here, but you could kinda imagine the expansibility of it by
looking at the divisions on the road.
♦ 40-804 Unitram Endless rail expansion set
Let's extend the tramway!
The expansion set for extending the straight parts of the tramway.
It includes the road, footpath and parking area etc. as well as the tramway itself too.
On the parking area, you could place the standard Diotown scale structures too.
♦ 40-820 Unitram Expansion Set Townscape
Let's extend the roads!
This is an expansion set based around the extension of the road and the townscape.
You could line up the
large
buildings that was released last week.
♦ The trains running on multi-rail
The greatly popular
Series E259
"Narita Express" is running on the outer course!
That's it for the report from the Kato booth.
By Kapinozuka, who mentions that it will continue a little more. Most likely, anyway.
