Turnout Motors
At first you may well be satisfied with switching the turnouts by hand but eventually, as your layout grows, you will want to operate turnouts by remote control. It is much more fun to control them in a more railway-like manner.
Standard Motor
This is the most famous type of Turnout Motor since it has been in production for well over thirty years and many thousands of enthusiasts have been using it successfully over this period of time.
No need for ugly boxes on the side of turnouts, this motor simply clips underneath.

With no linkage or other connections required, it provides positive action and is completely invisible in use. A hole in the baseboard is necessary to accept the motor.
Operated using the 16 volts AC outlet on your controller (2amps required) via one of our famous Passing Contact Switches ref.
