Product Description

-The E231 series is a model that has both commuting and suburban functions and structures as standard vehicles in the future of JR East in 2000 and has standardized specifications.
-Appeared on the Tokaido Line since 2004.

[Real car guide]
-The E231 1000 series is a suburban train developed by JR East. The same system employs a train information control system called “TIMS” in addition to a lightweight vehicle body and VVVF inverter control system, and can control the effectiveness of brakes and air conditioning settings in detail for each vehicle. The Tokaido Line has been introduced since the diamond revision in October 2004, and is active in the organization that incorporates a two-story green car.
