Product Description

- It was originally planned as a heavy anti-aircraft self-propelled gun for attacking the Maginot Line, but in 1941 the plan was changed to an anti-tank vehicle equipped with an 8.8cm Flak18.
- Two prototype vehicles were completed in 1942, the first car being equipped with 8.8cmFlak37 and the second car being manufactured with 8.8cmFlak41.
- In 1944, this vehicle attracted attention as an anti-aircraft gun vehicle that could accompany tank units.
- The vehicle had an overlapping undercarriage, allowing the suspension to be fixed during shooting.
- Foldable armor plates were placed on three sides of the gun, allowing the angle to be changed between marching, anti-aircraft firing, and horizontal firing.
- Car No. 2 was tested in Denmark in 1944.
