- Two kinds of marine liners running on the Seto Ohashi bridge are commercialized

[Actual vehicle guide]
- The Marine liner of the Seto Ohashi Bridge line, which began active in October 2003, is operated by JR West owned 223-5000 series and JR Shikoku owned 5000 series
- The 223-5000 series is based on the 223-2000 series active in the Kansai area, and it is made to pass through by using the hood frame when connecting the top cars to each other
