――The Keikyu New 1000 series has been in operation since April 2002 as a successor to the conventional 1000 series, and is the main model of Keikyu, which is still being expanded.
――Early vehicles used a control device and traction motor manufactured by Siemens of Germany on an aluminum body, and were called Doremifa trains because of the characteristic start-up sound at the time of departure.
――The body has been changed to stainless steel and the control equipment has been changed to Japanese from the additional cars since 2007.
――The 16th car that appeared in 2016 has a red and white full-scale cutting seat wrapping like the 1800 series, and a 4-seat box seat with an auxiliary chair on one side of the car end is placed on the upper part of the entrance door. We have installed an information provider (LCD) that supports four languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean).
