──The 6000 series, which has reached its 60th birthday and is now even more radiant, is now available in the nostalgic style of the "silver-plated" Tetsuro Collection.

- Nankai Electric Railway is a railway company that runs from Namba in Osaka to Wakayama, Koyasan, and Kansai International Airport.
- Founded in December 1885, it is the oldest private railway in Japan.
- 72 units of the 6000 series were manufactured between 1962 and 1969 to increase the transport capacity of the Nankai Koya Line.
- This series is the first Nankai Electric Railway train to feature an all-stainless steel body.
- Since then, the trains have undergone air conditioning modifications, bogies have been replaced, and some of the car bodies have been updated, and as of 2024, they are still in service, although their numbers have decreased.
- In September 2023, six cars, including the 6001 train, will be restored to their original unpainted stainless steel appearance and put into service as the "nostalgic unpainted stainless steel" trains.

- By using a separately sold power unit and N gauge running parts, it can be run as an N gauge model train.
- We recommend the TM-08R (20m class A) power unit, TT-04R running parts set, and PT4811N <0258> pantograph.
