- Nagasaki Electric Tramway operates a tram line with a distance of approximately 11.5 km within the city of Nagasaki.
- Nagasaki is one of Japan's leading tourist destinations, and is visited by many tourists from both within Japan and abroad, including students on school trips and cruise ships from overseas that call at Nagasaki Port.
- Furthermore, even among Japanese cities with tramways, the city is notable for the wide variety of tramways available, from new low-floor carriages to historic vehicles.
- Seven 1500 series cars were introduced from 1993.
- It has a similar exterior design to the previously released 1200 and 1300 series, but is equipped with a single-arm pantograph.
- Car No. 1507 has been reclassified as a 1500A series car due to an equipment update to indirect control.
- In this production, the roof-mounted resistor and the side window equipped with the destination display sign are reproduced with new parts, recreating the external features of car No. 1507.

- By using a separately sold power unit, it can be run as an N gauge model train.
- We recommend the TM-TR01 (for tramways) power unit and the PT7113D <0246> pantograph.
