-- 211 series two-car formation seen only in the Shizuoka area

The 11 series is a direct current commuter train with a stainless steel body that was introduced in 1986 (Showa 61) during the era of Japanese National Railways. Following privatization the following year, it was inherited by JR East and JR Central.
JR Central incorporated new designs tailored to the new company's circumstances and manufactured them under new number series classifications.
Of these, the 6000 series is made up of two cars and is therefore equipped with the 213 series 1M car system.
It was originally operated on the Gotemba Line, but is now mainly used on the Tokaido Main Line.
