--The E26 series sleeper car, which is used as a cruise train in various parts of eastern Japan, is now available as a new set!

[Product Introduction]
The E26 series was introduced in 1999 as a new sleeper car positioned as the Hokutosei's highest-class vehicle.
Nicknamed "Cassiopea," it served as a luxury sleeper train for many years, but with the opening of the Hokkaido Shinkansen between Shin-Aomori and Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto, regular service ended in March 2016.
Since then, it has been equipped with radio equipment for the Shinkansen in the Seikan Tunnel and mainly operated as a tour train traveling around Hokkaido and the Tohoku region, but it stopped running to Hokkaido in February 2017 and now operates as a group-only train called the Cassiopeia Cruise within the jurisdiction of JR East.

Introducing the E26 series passenger car, which continues to serve as the Cassiopeia Cruise.
You can enjoy combining it with various locomotives, including the 3066-F EF81 95 Rainbow Painted Locomotive, which will be released at the same time.
In addition, by incorporating the 11-222 LED interior lights, clear, for E26 series, set of 6 cars, which are scheduled to be reproduced at the same time, you can recreate a more realistic and atmospheric night-time running scene.

[Product Features]
After the end of regular service of [Cassiopeia], the product was produced in the form around 2016 when the LCX antenna was installed under the floor of the Kahafu E26.
Beautifully expresses the symbol mark (Slonev E26/Kahaf E26) and five color stripes
Expressing the subtle differences in the texture of stainless steel (door frames, steel observation sections, etc.)
The LCX antenna installed under the floor of the Kahaf E26-1 is reproduced. The chairs in the observation room are colored blue to match the actual vehicle.
The E26 has a table light that lights up, a non-smoking car mark printed next to the car number, and a brown-based interior.
The telephone antenna on the Sloné E26 coupling is reproduced with a separate part.
Taillight/back sign lighting (white LED used)
The locomotive coupling of the Sloneff E26/Kahaf E26 is equipped with an Arnold coupler as standard (replacement KATO knuckle coupler included). The intermediate coupling is equipped with a close-coupled KATO coupler with jumper tube as standard.
Side display stickers are included. You can recreate the side display for the Cassiopeia Cruise, which only shows the car number and the nickname Cassiopeia.
By incorporating the [Clear LED Interior Lights for E26 Series] (sold separately), which is a set of 6 cars, you can enjoy night-time running scenes.
