Following on from the 1/48 scale Zero Fighter, which has been well received by users both in Japan and overseas, we will be releasing a series of 1/72 scale Zero Fighter kits one after the other.
The first release is an early production type of Mitsubishi Model 52, which continues from the Model 22 and features a collective exhaust pipe under the cowling.
The product is molded in a different color for each runner, with the fuselage and wings in green, the cowling and legs in black, and the engine, propeller, etc. in gray.
This kit comes with three water-transfer decals depicting the markings of three aircraft: one belonging to the 253rd Naval Air Group in Rabaul, flown by Japanese Navy ace Tetsuzo Iwamoto, and the other belonging to the 252nd Air Group which was active in the Marshall Islands;
