Product Description
The Type 1 medium tank (Chi-He) was developed as the Imperial Japanese Army's main battle tank, following the Type 97 medium tank (Chi-Ha).
The development was based on the Type 97 medium tank, with the body assembly being changed from a structure that mainly involved rivets to a structure that made use of welding more, and the armor thickness was increased from a maximum of 25mm to 50mm.
The engine was also upgraded from 170 horsepower to 240 horsepower, and the tank was equipped with a Type 1 47mm tank gun.
The tracks are made of plastic and can be assembled using adhesive, allowing for realistic reproduction of sagging.
The breech of the main gun is also reproduced.
The markings reproduce seven types of vehicles deployed in the country.
We conducted thorough research and have reflected this information in the kit and manual.
When completed, the overall length is approximately 160mm, and the overall width is approximately 67mm.
