[Actual vehicle introduction]
The Seibu Railway E31 electric locomotive is a locomotive with four cars manufactured between 1986 and the following year to replace older locomotives used for freight and business purposes.
Based on the color design of the E851 electric locomotive, the main color is cream, with the windows and stripes painted vermilion.
All E31-type cars were retired from Seibu Railway by 2008, and in September 2010, three cars, E32, E33, and E34, were transferred to the Oigawa Railway. They were refurbished in 2017, and all cars were gradually put into service.
It is mainly used as a rear auxiliary engine for steam locomotives, but can also be seen leading passenger trains.
In March 2025, the E34 will be repainted in a blue base with cream stripes to match the JNR DC electric locomotives (express train livery), giving it a completely new image, and the number [ED31 4] will be affixed to it.

- The end markings, section nameplate inserts, numbers, front louver patterns, and other detailed decorations are printed exactly like the actual car.
- The front guide railing and release lever are reproduced three-dimensionally using metal parts.
- Only the base remains of the train radio antenna, and the snowplow shape is different from the A9958 Seibu E31
- Motor included. Headlights on (no switch). Taillights and lower indicator lights off.
