When the 5070 series that remained on the Noda Line was retired in 2004, the 5050 series became Tobu's last under-the-seat drive car, attracting attention, but the Utsunomiya Line, which remained until then, was also replaced with 8000 series one-man cars in 2006, and all of the cars were retired.
