These bumper cars (go-karts) are a type of playground equipment installed in amusement parks, where cars crash into each other on a course.
For this reason, impact-absorbing bumpers are installed all around the vehicle.
This bumper car kit is based on the one installed in Pripyat Amusement Park in the Soviet Union (1986).

Pripyat is located in northern Ukraine and was one of the most important cities in the Soviet Union, with excellent facilities.
The city developed due to the nuclear power plant, and the majority of its residents were employees and their families.
On April 26, 1986, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, which was the core of the city, experienced a runaway reactor during an operational test, resulting in a steam explosion.
Residents of Pripyat began evacuating around 2 p.m. on the 27th by bus, train, boat, and other means of transportation, and the evacuation was almost complete within about two hours.
After that, all residents disappeared from the city except for nuclear power plant engineers, firefighters, doctors, and police officers.
Because it was abandoned in a short time, the townscape from that time remains as it was.
Pripyat is currently off-limits to the public, but local tours are available.
However, you will be required to sign a document stating that you are responsible for your own health after the tour.
The kit model, Bamberger, remains at Pripyat Amusement Park.
The park was scheduled to open on May 1, 1986, May Day, but was abandoned without ever opening.
Located just a few kilometers from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, it remains a symbol of the nuclear disaster.
