──1700 series, a modified version of the 1600 series. A lineup of new and old paint jobs with selectable car numbers.

The Meitetsu 1700 series has its roots in the 1600 series, which was introduced in 1999 as a three-car train.
Following a review of the express train system in 2008, two of the three cars, the Mo1700 and Sa1650, were utilized, and four newly constructed 2300 series general-purpose cars were combined, using some of the equipment from the Ku1600, which was to be scrapped, to create this train.
It is mainly used on Meitetsu lines for rapid express and limited express services along with the 1200 and 2200 series, and was originally painted in a style reminiscent of the 2200 series, but since 2015 it has been repainted in a style closer to the original 1600 series.

Ventilator, lightning arrester, and exterior speakers are already installed
Train radio antenna, fuse box, signal flare (car No. 1700), underfloor equipment (car No. 1700 VVVF control device only) are user-installed.
Signal flares (car No. 2330), running boards, odor vents, and lightning arresters (car No. 1700) are all one piece sculptures.
Headlights (car No. 1700: warm white, car No. 2330: white), taillights (red), front type and destination display (white), signal lights (car No. 1700: green, car No. 2330: warm white), fog lights (yellow) are lit
Equipped with a coreless motor power unit with a flywheel
