[About the gun]
The Breda 20/65 was an anti-aircraft gun deployed and operated by the Italian army during World War II.
It was developed in the 1930s by Ernesto Breda of Brescia.
It is designed to be used both as an anti-aircraft gun and against ground targets, and is effective against trucks and armored vehicles.
Armor-piercing rounds were said to be able to penetrate 30 mm of armor at a distance of 500 m.
20/65 indicates the caliber and barrel length, standing for 20mm L/65.
The gun carriage that carried it was called the Model 1935, or Mod.35 for short.
The tripod dolly had two foldable legs for towing and a stable platform with two tires.
Because the speed at which they could be towed was limited, they were often transported on the back of trucks.
It was used on various fronts throughout World War II, and was also mounted on several vehicles and used as a self-propelled gun.

This is a 1/35 scale plastic assembly kit of the Breda 20/65 Mod.35, which was used by the Italian army throughout World War II.
