[About the actual machine]
The Grumman F6F Hellcat was a carrier-based fighter used by the US Navy from the middle of World War II.
The F6F-3 was the first production model and began combat deployment in 1943.
Over 4,400 were produced before it was replaced by the improved F6F-5 in April 1944, and saw action against the Japanese on the Pacific front.
The engine is a 2000 horsepower Wright R-2800-10.
In addition to its easy-to-handle maneuverability, it also had excellent maneuverability, making it effective in dogfights.
Another feature of the aircraft was that it had a high survivability rate, thanks to features such as an armor plate on the back of the pilot and an automatic leak-proof tank, combined with its sturdy body.

-The model is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat.
- Finished length is 150mm. The aircraft's shape and panel lines are expressively reproduced.
- The Wright R-2800-10 engine in the nose is also modeled with a good amount of detail, including the cooling fins on the cylinder.
- The main wing flaps can be assembled with either the up or down position, allowing you to choose the final look.

The decals are based on aircraft belonging to Hellcat operating units from the US and British armies.
