[About the actual car]
The Panther tank is said to be the most powerful German tank of World War II.
Development of a new medium tank to replace the Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks began before the outbreak of World War II, but the Soviet T-34 tanks encountered during the German-Soviet War led to changes in the original plans and more concrete plans were put into place.
Its sloped armor design, which was excellent at deflecting bullets, is said to have been heavily influenced by the T-34.
Of the prototypes developed between Daimler-Benz and MAN, the MAN design was adopted and mass production began in January 1943, and it was named the Panther D.
It was deployed in the Battle of Kursk, which began in July of the same year and is recorded as the largest tank battle in history.
Although it suffered from problems due to insufficient maturity, it played a vital role as a main battle tank, and was later improved to become the Ausf. A and then the Ausf. G, earning a reputation as the best German tank.

[About the model]
This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Panther D, the first mass-produced version of what is considered the best German tank of World War II.
The finished length is 247mm. Italeri's unique, minimalist design ensures easy assembly.
The lower body is a single piece, with the suspension arms being separate parts, and together with the staggered road wheels, it creates a three-dimensional finish.
- The upper part of the vehicle faithfully reproduces the sloped armor design.
- The rear engine deck also features etched parts in the mesh area of the grille, adding a touch of realism to the detailed depiction.
-In addition, the vehicle's tools, gun barrel traveling lock, and headlights are also realistically finished.
-In addition, not only the shape of the turret but also the shape of the cupola and mantlet have been faithfully reproduced.
