This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit of the HH-53C Jolly Green Giant, a large helicopter operated by the United States Air Force.

[About the actual machine]
During the Vietnam War, the United States Air Force operated the HH-3E, a large helicopter known as the Jolly Green Giant, for rescue and search missions for pilots.
Based on that experience, the HH-53 was developed as a successor helicopter.
Focusing on the CH-53 Sea Stallion transport helicopter equipped by the United States Marine Corps, the company developed an aircraft based on it and equipped with the same equipment as the HH-3E.
It began operation in 1967.
Furthermore, the following year, in 1968, the HH-53C was introduced, which was equipped with a more powerful engine.
In addition to being used in combat search and rescue, it has continued to be improved and updated, and various variations have been released.
It continued to operate until 2008.
