This is a 1/144 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's F-2 fighter. This set includes masking stickers that are convenient for painting the canopy frame.

[About the actual machine]
The F-2 fighter jet has been in service since 2000 and serves as the main fighter of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
Development of the F-1's successor began in 1988. Based on the American F-16, the aircraft was developed jointly by Japan and the United States, taking into consideration its use as a Self-Defense Force aircraft and Japan's geographical location.
It is capable of carrying and operating long-range air-to-ship missiles and ASMs, as well as air-to-air radar missiles.
First deployed to the 3rd Squadron at Misawa Air Base, and then to the 6th and 8th Squadrons at Tsuiki Air Base, they are demonstrating their capabilities in the air defense missions of Japan's skies.
The 3rd Air Wing, which belongs to the Northern Air Defense Command under the Air Defense Command, was formed at Matsushima Air Base on December 1, 1957 (Showa 32), and was later relocated to Gifu Air Base and Komaki Air Base, before moving to its current location at Misawa Air Base in 1978 (Showa 53).
The 3rd Air Wing of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force celebrated its 50th anniversary in September 2007 with a commemorative ceremony.
In addition, the F-2A of the 3rd Squadron, which the aircraft belonged to, was given a unique marking with the Roman numeral VX (50) on the specially painted aircraft.

[About the model]
This is a 1/144 scale assembly kit that recreates the F-2A, a fighter jet of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force that began operation in 2000.
- The parts are made by F-Toys and are easy to assemble, and the set includes parts for one aircraft.
In addition, this set comes with masking stickers that are convenient for painting the canopy frame and wheels. The precise paint separation will enhance the finish.
The fuselage's blended wing form is accurately reproduced. With a finished length of approximately 100mm, it recreates the current fighter jet used by the Japan Self-Defense Forces.
-This kit also includes a resin part that accurately reproduces the shape of the center tank attached to the underside of the aircraft.
-The markings reproduce the commemorative paint job of the VX (50) that was unveiled at the ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the 3rd Air Wing in 2007.
-The markings on the center tank are also carefully recreated.
-In addition, standard paint markings are also included. You can choose either one to finish it.
