Product Description
--The 211 series, which was mainly used in local operations in the Boso region, has been released. The two-pantograph formation is also reproduced with a new mold!
[Product Introduction]
We will be producing the 211 series, which was active in the Boso area from 2006 to 2013 (Heisei 18 to 2013).
This train was created when Takasaki Rolling Stock Center's 211 series 3000 series trains were converted into fixed 10-car formations by incorporating green cars.It is painted in the yellow and blue Boso colors and replaced some of the 113 series trains belonging to Makuhari Rolling Stock Center.
After being selected, it served in the Boso area for seven years, and then when the 209 series was introduced to the Boso area, it was transferred to Nagano Rolling Stock Center, where it ended its service in the Boso region.
The year after service began, single-arm pantographs were added to KuMoHa 211 in nine of the 14 trains to improve current collection efficiency, and the trains were fitted with a unique configuration featuring two different types of pantographs.
Introducing the 211 series, which supported the Boso area for a generation.
The products will include the 507 train set, which is equipped with two pantographs, and the 407 train set (second generation), which is equipped with one pantograph.
This product has many interesting features, such as the front display that shows the line name in a background color that varies depending on the line system.
It is also possible to recreate two trains coupled together to form a 10-car formation, allowing you to enjoy a variety of different scenes.
