[About the actual machine]
The MiG-21 is a masterpiece Soviet fighter that began operation in 1959 and is still in active service into the 2000s, with various types being produced.
It was designed by the Mikoyan-Gregovich Design Bureau, and the prototype first flew in 1955.
In 1956 it was given the official name MiG-21.
The first mass-produced model was called the MiG-21F, with subsequent improved versions appearing.
Among them, the MiG-21bis can be said to be the completed form of the MiG-21.
The MiG-21bis first flew in 1971.
The aircraft was equipped with a single Tumansky R-25-300 turbojet engine, giving it a maximum speed of 2,175 km/h.
The armament consists of one 23mm GSh-23L cannon.
The aircraft was equipped with four hard points, allowing it to carry a maximum of 1,300 kg of ordnance.
It was widely deployed and operated not only in the Soviet Union but also in communist countries.

[About the model]

- The unique shape of the MiG-21 Fishbed, with its delta wing and nose-mounted air intakes, is accurately reproduced.
-In addition, this kit includes masking stickers that are convenient for painting the canopy frame and tires.
- The stickers are cut to fit the shape of the canopy frame, so simply peel them off the backing and stick them to each part.
-The aircraft parts are made by Eduard.
- The hump from the rear of the cockpit to the vertical stabilizer is reproduced with a separate part, accurately expressing the aircraft shape.
