[Vehicle Guide]
The 14 Series 700 series [Salon Express Tokyo] is a European-style passenger car for special charter trains that debuted in 1983, converted from a 14 Series passenger car.
- It was remodeled into a Japanese-style passenger car [Yutori] in 1997 and retired in 2008.

[Product Features]
• High-grade (HG) specifications
- The 14 Series 700 Series Salon Express Tokyo has been newly manufactured and reproduced.
- The Surofu 14 type car has had wipers added to the observation car windows, and the train mark and destination display have been replaced with illustrations, recreating its appearance from the JR era.
- Newly manufactured TN couplers, steps, and toilet tank parts are used to recreate the undercarriage ends in three dimensions.
- The ventilator is a separate part and is reproduced in three dimensions.
- The train mark and side destination display are pre-printed with "[Salon Express Tokyo (illustration)]".
• Vehicle number already printed
- The observation car side of the Surofu 14 type comes with a bogie frame for replacement with an Arnold coupler.
- Tail lights and train markings are equipped with a constant lighting circuit board and an ON/OFF switch.
- The train mark lights up regardless of the direction of travel.
- Equipped with a dedicated interior lighting unit.
