Product Description
--The C-type locomotive now comes in Euroliner livery!
[Vehicle Introduction]
Taking advantage of the boom in joy trains at the time, the Japanese National Railways (JNR) introduced the European-style passenger car "Euro Liner" for the Nagoya Railway Bureau.
This train, which was modified from the 12 series express passenger cars, was characterized not only by its luxurious exterior and interior with observation rooms and skylights, but also by its refreshing paint scheme of light blue with dark blue stripes.
In total, five locomotives—EF64, EF65, and DD51—were repainted in the same livery and served as dedicated towing machines.
This product is a shorty model inspired by the EF64 and DD51 locomotives used exclusively for the Euro Liner.
Based on the previously released C-type electric locomotive, this model reproduces the refreshing exterior paint scheme unique to the Euro Liner.
