Product Description
--The long-awaited JR-spec 113 series Yokosuka color train has finally arrived. The 1500 series with its higher-positioned typhoon horn and the Salo 113 are made with new molds!
[Product Introduction]
The 113 series 1500 series, manufactured between 1979 and 1981, is a group of trains with wider seat pitch compared to the 1000 series, which were used for subway through service on the Yokosuka and Sobu Rapid Lines.
Because the lead car is equipped with ATC-related equipment, a distinctive feature of this train is that the headlights and horns are positioned higher than on other 113 series trains.
The Salo 113, a Green Car located in the middle of the train, was manufactured between 1973 and 1974 for the Yokosuka and Sobu Rapid Lines and features a wide seat pitch.
Although it was transferred to the Kansai region along the way, it served as part of the 113 series on the Yokosuka and Sobu Rapid Lines.
The Salo 124 was a double-decker green car manufactured between 1988 and 1990 to replace the aging Salo 110 and 111. Unlike the early models used on above-ground lines, it was equipped with the same TR235 bogies as the 211 series.
This set allows you to recreate the double-decker formation seen on trains belonging to the Ofuna depot by swapping out the Green Car with a single Salo 124 car.
You can recreate the bustling atmosphere of the Tokyo metropolitan area in its heyday, along with the 113 series trains in Shonan colors and the Blue Trains that operated on the Tokaido Main Line.
[Product features]
This product recreates the Mari 117 train set, belonging to JR East's Makuhari Train Depot, from around 1993. It reproduces the train's appearance after the installation of JR radio antennas and ATS-P, and without destination sign holders.
The 1500 series leading cars (Kuha 111-1605, Kuha 111-1505) feature headlights and horns positioned higher than other series, and a different window arrangement compared to the 2000 series.
Equipped with PS16C pantographs and LA17 lightning arresters, featuring the later-type running board shape (Kuha 111-1426 and Kuha 111-1113 are the earlier type), and reproducing the roof without canvas retainers.
The Salo 113 replicates the appearance and seating arrangement of the Salo 110-1200, with wider seat pitch. It is equipped with a mesh-type AU13 cooler.
The train's body color, composed of Blue No. 15 and Cream No. 1, and the JR mark painted on the side are beautifully rendered.
Headlights/taillights and front display illuminate (with on/off switch). Uses white LEDs.
The front display is pre-printed with "[Yokosuka Line - Sobu Line (navy blue lettering on a white background)]". A replacement front display (blank) is included.
The adoption of a slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet operation.
Each car features a body-mounted close-coupling coupler without a hook. A body mount that can be attached to the front is included.
Includes stickers for front train number display, side destination display, car number, etc.
DCC friendly
Features an 8-car book-style case. Can store the included train set and the individual Salo 124 car.
