"D51" is a steam locomotive for freight produced by 1945 from 1933.
Because 1,115 cars in total were made, it was most steam locomotives in Japan.
The nickname was "Degoichi".
No.1002 was completed in 1944 in the Pacific Wars.
A dome part being square and bottom of a ship-shaped Tender are characteristic.
It was done a junk car after it was used by the 100th anniversary Japan National Railways (JNR) memory train in October, 1972.
This model reproduces the times when I belonged to the JNR Sakata locomotive base (Yamagata).
