[GE ES Locomotive]
- A series of electric diesel locomotives developed by GE Transportation Systems.
- Since around the year 2000, the United States has introduced emissions regulations to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, which have increased in exchange for development.
- In 2005, GE began manufacturing ES locomotives to comply with the regulations.

[GE ES44]
- ES in ES44 stands for EvolutionSeries, and the number 44 stands for 4,400 horsepower.
- ES (Evolution Series) has four models: ES40DC, ES44DC, ES44AC, and ES44C4.
・ES44DC: A locomotive equipped with a DC motor and the successor to the C44-9W Dash9.
・ES44AC: A locomotive equipped with an AC motor and the successor to the AC4400CW.
・ES44C4: A locomotive that inherits the excellent features of ES44DC and ES44AC.

[Florida East Coast Railroad]
- The Florida East Coast Railroad was a second-class railroad established in 1885 by industrialist Henry Morrison Flagler, one of the founders of Standard Oil with Rockefeller, to develop Florida's Atlantic coast. It operates a 351-mile (about 565 km) trunk route between the building and Miami, Florida with limestone transportation and freight transportation.
- Now owned by Grupo Mexico, a mining and logistics center.
- The railroad company is the only railroad in the United States actively using liquefied natural gas, a much cleaner fuel than diesel, and in 2014 installed 24 (# 800 to #823).
- The ES44C4 follows the era of rapid growth of Florida's Atlantic coast and is an important locomotive for the growing Florida economy, and the new locomotive has a vivid tradition of yellow and orange Florida sunshine. Champion] scheme was adopted.

[ES44C4]
- It is a locomotive that inherits the excellent features of ES44DC and ES44AC, and although it is an AC machine (equipped with an AC induction motor), the manufacturing cost has been reduced, the central axis of the 6-axis bogie is unpowered, and the axis arrangement is A1A-A1A. However, the pulling force at startup is maintained at the same level as a 6-axis DC motor (equipped with a DC motor).
