--Among the ED75 0 series, this model recreates the early group without a roof!

[Actual vehicle guide]
- The ED75 type is an AC electric locomotive that was introduced in 1963.
- The early manufactured cars from No. 3 to No. 49 have a distinctive appearance with a body without a awning and a rounded bottom skirt.
- They were mainly stationed at Uchigo Locomotive Depot and Morioka Locomotive Depot, and were used to pull local trains and freight trains on the Tohoku Main Line and Joban Line. The ED75 type at Morioka Locomotive Depot also saw extensive use as helper locomotives for crossing the difficult Jusanbongi Pass between Hachinohe and Morioka.
- When they were introduced, they were equipped with defrosters, but the cars at Morioka Locomotive Depot were soon replaced with heated glass and removed.
- The early model cars without eaves were not inherited by the JR companies and were all retired by February 1987.
