Product Description

Kasumi was commissioned in June 1939 as the ninth Asashio-class destroyer.
During the Battle of Cape Bouno in Operation Ten-Ichi-Go in April 1945, the ship was heavily damaged and rendered unsailable by an attack from carrier-based aircraft of the US Navy Task Force. After the surviving crew were rescued by Fuyutsuki, the ship was torpedoed and scuttled by the same ship.
