[About the actual machine]
The T-2 is an advanced training aircraft that has trained many elite pilots for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, which protects the skies of Japan. It was the first supersonic aircraft developed indigenously in Japan.
It first flew in 1971, entered service in 1974, and remained in active service until 2006.
The aircraft was powered by two Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries TF40-IHI-801A turbofan engines, giving it a maximum speed of Mach 1.6.
The Blue Impulse, the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's aerobatic flying team, which was founded in 1960 as the Air Mobility Research Team of the 2nd Squadron of the 1st Air Wing, has also been using the T-2 since 1982.
The speedy performance that made the most of the T-2's capabilities was very popular.

[About the model]
-The model is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the T-2 advanced trainer aircraft deployed by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
This kit is modeled after the aircraft of the Blue Impulse, the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's proud acrobatic flying team.
-In addition, as a first-run limited edition, the set includes a pilot figure that fits into the aircraft's cockpit.
- Open the canopy and try your hand at recreating the brave figure of a Blue Impulse pilot in the cockpit, or close the canopy and recreate the tension of takeoff.
-Of course, each part of the aircraft is reproduced in detail, right down to the panel lines, realistically reproducing the sharp aircraft shape.
- The cockpit in which the pilot figure sits is also modeled in detail.
- The legs and other parts are reproduced to give the finished product a sharp finish.
・Furthermore, using the dedicated detail-up parts will further enhance the realism.
