[About the actual machine]
The T-33 Shooting Star was the jet trainer aircraft primarily used by the United States Air Force from 1948 after World War II.
It was also used by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force and was a familiar aircraft in Japanese skies.
The aircraft is equipped with one Allison J33-A-35 centrifugal turbojet engine.
Without tip tanks or external armament, it boasted a top speed of Mach 0.8.
It features a tandem two-seater aircraft design with straight wings.
By 1959, production had exceeded 6,500 units, making it a best-selling aircraft used in over 30 countries around the world.

[About the model]
This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit that recreates the T-33A, a jet trainer aircraft operated by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
- The kit is made up of easy-to-assemble parts and is approximately 15cm long when finished.
The fuselage shape with its straight wings has been faithfully reproduced. In addition, the detailed depiction of panel lines and other details enhances the realism.
- The air brake can be assembled open or closed.
- In addition to the delicate reproduction of the legs, the reproduction of the storage compartment is also not to be missed.
