Product Description

── The lineup includes the distinctive 8014 train, which combines a leading car and an intermediate car.

[Product overview]
The Keio 8000 series was the first Keio train to use VVVF inverter control, and 14 10-car trains and 13 8-car trains were manufactured between 1992 and 1999.
As the successor to the 6000 series, it was mainly used for express and semi-express trains, and is still Keio's main vehicle today.
The design of the lead car is a rounded, semi-streamlined shape, following the image of the original 5000 series.

Among the Keio 8000 series, the unique style of the 8714 and 8814 trains, in which the front and middle cars were connected, is now available with indicator lights lit.
This car reproduces the appearance from around January 2010 to around March 2012, after the incorporation of Saha 8564 and before Kuha 8764 was converted into an intermediate car.
