[Product overview]
The Tobu 10000 series debuted in 1983 as the successor to the 8000 series.
The train cars were 20 meters long and made of stainless steel, based on the 9000 series. Two-car, six-car, and eight-car sets were manufactured and deployed on the Isesaki Line and the Tojo Line, respectively.
From 2007 onwards, renovation work was carried out, including the removal of some pantographs, updating of headlights, conversion of destination and train type indicators to full-color LEDs, and interior renovations.
All Tobu Skytree Line trains underwent a complete refurbishment in 2015, and some of the modifications, both inside and out, were made to the trains whose refurbishment began in 2011.
In 2012, coinciding with the opening of Tokyo Skytree, the company emblem displayed on the side of the vehicle was changed.

Tobu Railway's unrefurbished 10000 series train will be released as a pre-painted model kit.

[Product Specifications]
The vehicle number, company emblem, TOBU logo, driver's cab, and "No Entry to Driver's Cabin" markings are transfer-type decals from the included vehicle markings.
Train type/destination display, priority seating (new/old), weakly air-conditioned car, and women-only car are applied using attached stickers.
A light unit is included that illuminates the headlights (warm white) and taillights.
Includes long seat parts with end caps.
