Synthetic railway sleepers are highly durable and lightweight railway sleepers made from rigid polyurethane foam (a type of plastic) and glass fiber.
It offers the same workability as wood, yet does not rot, is lighter than concrete, and boasts a long lifespan of over 30 years.
Unlike concrete sleepers used in typical railway tracks, these sleepers are employed in areas requiring particularly high durability and ease of installation, such as turnouts (points) and bridges.
Introducing an electric point track that replicates synthetic sleepers, allowing you to enjoy a truly atmospheric running experience that perfectly matches the trains in service these days.
The DC point machines are compactly housed within the track bed, allowing for both a realistic appearance and flexible track layouts.
Following the user-friendly Unitrack standard, it can also be used to expand the layout plans of the M1-PC track set.
We will also be releasing the PC curved track R718-15° and PC straight track 64mm, which are necessary when constructing a track layout using the No. 6 electric point.
