--The DD551 1043, a familiar locomotive used as an auxiliary engine for the SL Yamaguchi train, along with the C56 160, is being re-released after a long time! Also available for the DL Yamaguchi train.

[Product Introduction]
DD51 1043 is a locomotive belonging to JR West's Shimonoseki General Rolling Stock Depot.
While retaining its original paint scheme, this locomotive features radio antennas mounted on both ends of the cab roof, a feature seen on recent JR West-owned locomotives, as well as LED taillights.
This popular locomotive is an indispensable part of the Yamaguchi-go train, frequently appearing as a helper engine, substitute towing equipment, and for passenger car test runs.
The DD51 comes with headmarks for the "Yamaguchi-go" and "Yabusame Tsuwano" trains.
By combining it with the 35 series 4000 series, you can recreate trains that were substituted for steam locomotives, test trains, and the magnificent sight of the 35 series being pulled by a double-headed D51 200, as seen in the past.

Recreating the configuration after the complete inspection in September 2018.
The cab roof features train radio antennas on both ends, and also replicates the number and arrangement of ventilators that differ from existing DD51 locomotives.
The cab replicates the configuration with tablet protectors mounted on the sides.
The driver's cab front window features a wiper.
The taillights, which appear white when the lights are off on the actual vehicle, are reproduced.
Headlights are on. Warm white LEDs are used.
Standard equipment includes Arnold couplers. Replacement KATO knuckle couplers are included.
Equipped with a flywheel-equipped power unit, enabling stable running.
In addition to the "Yamaguchi" headmark, which is essential when the SL [Yamaguchi] train is pulled, it also comes with the "Yabusame Tsuwano" headmark.
