Product Description

The Udaloy-class destroyers were large anti-submarine destroyers of the Soviet Navy (now the Russian Navy), with 12 ships of the same class commissioned between the 1980s and 1990s, primarily tasked with anti-submarine and anti-aircraft defense.
With a full load displacement of 8,500 tons, it was characterized by a hull that was considerably larger than the destroyers of Western countries at the time. Furthermore, its structure was designed to enhance stealth capabilities, with features such as a sloped outer wall of the superstructure and the use of radar-absorbing paint.
In terms of armament, it was equipped with a powerful sonar, short-range RBU-6000 anti-submarine rockets, long-range SS-N-14 anti-submarine missiles, and the ability to operate Ka-27 anti-submarine patrol helicopters, among other formidable weapons.
