--The long-awaited HOT7020 series through-type lead car of the [Super Hakuto] is finally here! The other cars reproduce the 5th generation cars, which differ from the previous products.

[Product Introduction]
The Super Hakuto, an intercity limited express train connecting Kyoto/Osaka to Tottori/Kurayoshi via the third-sector Chizu Express, is operated using the HOT7000 series, a controlled natural pendulum diesel railcar owned by the company and which opened in 1994.
The Chizu Express HOT7000 series consists of non-through-type leading cars (ordinary cars), intermediate cars (ordinary cars, ordinary cars (barrier-free accessible), and combined ordinary and green cars), and through-type leading cars (HOT7020 type, ordinary cars). A key feature of the actual train is that it takes advantage of the flexibility inherent in diesel railcars to create various configurations according to demand.
The "HOT" in the model name comes from the first letters of the three prefectures along the line (Hyogo, Okayama, and Tottori), as well as from the hot springs and the warmth of the people in the San'in region.

As a variation of the product released in 2021, we will be producing a 6-car train set that includes two through-type leading cars (HOT7020 type) in the formation, resulting in different front shapes at both ends.

[Product features]
A 6-car train set including two non-through-type and through-type leading cars. The current specifications, with LED headlights and full-color LED destination displays, are reproduced in this product.
The HOT7020 type through-type leading car is a reproduction of the 1994 model, while the other cars are reproduced in their 2002 model year.
The HOT7020 series through-type lead car is reproduced with a new mold, accurately recreating the semi-streamlined front section and the distinctive shape and opening of the skirt.
・HOT7022 (Car No. 1): Equipped with dummy couplers, headlights/taillights illuminate (with on/off switch)
・HOT7021 (Additional Car No. 2): Equipped with coupling coupler and gangway adapter (detachable), headlights/taillights illuminate (with on/off switch)
Each car features a unique roof shape to accommodate different exhaust pipes and air conditioners from different manufacturers. Vehicles other than the 7020 series replicate the 5th generation cars, featuring round exhaust pipes and Denso air conditioners.
The distinctive half-mirror effect of the side windows, which reflect light like a mirror, is reproduced just like on the actual vehicle.
Equipped with KATO's unique body tilting mechanism that reproduces the inward tilt of the car body when passing through curves, just like the real train.
The intermediate connecting sections use hookless, body-mounted close-coupling couplers.
The adoption of a slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet operation.
Headlights/taillights illuminate (white LEDs used; HOT7020 model has an on/off switch).
