Product Description
--The door opening direction is newly reproduced to match the modified Moha 63 series!
[Vehicle Guide]
The Saha 78 series appeared as trailer cars for the wartime-designed Moha 63 series. There were vehicles that were manufactured as Saha 78 series from the beginning, and vehicles that were converted and incorporated into this series from un-electrified Moha 63 series vehicles.
Initially used on commuter lines in the Tokyo and Osaka areas, these trains were moved to the suburbs of the Tokyo metropolitan area as these lines were modernized. Some underwent renovations, including the installation of aluminum window frames, and remained in service until the late 1970s.
