Product Description
We are pleased to announce a new 1/72 Supermarine Attacker full resin kit from CMR (Czech Master Resin) of the Czech Republic.
The Attacker, which utilized the wings of the company's Spiteful fighter (which was produced in limited numbers), was the first jet carrier-based fighter in the British Navy and, unusually for a jet aircraft, employed a tailwheel configuration.
The aircraft, which made its maiden flight in 1946 and was deployed to units in 1951, was subsequently used as a fighter and fighter-bomber, but all of them were retired in 1957 when they were replaced by the Hawker Seahawk.
Outside of the UK, the Pakistani Air Force acquired 36 land-based versions and used them until the early 1960s.
The kit includes resin parts, a vacuum-formed canopy, and four different marking options, including data stencil decals.
When completed, the model will be approximately 159mm long and 156mm wide.
